"Genital preference" (aka sexual orientation) cannot be a result of ✨internalized transphobia✨ because society pressures people to be with people of the opposite sex. If ✨societal influences✨ really could change sexual orientation, all lesbians would already be attracted to males.

Pretending that society would be opposed to lesbians being with males undermines the struggles homosexuals go through, which is quite offensive.

EDIT: These people equating stereotypes with being a man/woman is frustrating. They don't see themselves in how women are portrayed in media, so they come to the false conclusion that they're not women. They don't find it attractive how men in media are portrayed, so they come to the conclusion that they aren't attracted to "men", except they are attracted to males that call themselves non-binary, males that call themselves trans women, including actual dick.
