Homophobia will sadly always exist. It's sad that we're confronting it from both sides of the political divide. Many on the right see us as perverse deviants and now the left see us as exclusionary genital fetishists.

None of my friends on the left - that's pretty much all my friends - agree with that proposition and think the idea is quite outrageous. The problem is they also think it's not an issue and that no one really thinks that way, dismissing all the evidence to the contrary as just a few idiots on social media. A lot of people don't seem to understand that to Gen Z social media is pretty much their entire lives and these ideas are being promulgated in schools and universities.

I have several friends who react similarly. But TRAs also try to gaslight us by saying no one ever says that. Even mainstream gay publications are trying to shame us into accepting trans people in our dating pools and spaces.
