I am willing to bet there's an honest confusion in the exact same way they confuse regular people with TRA jargon.

If a Twitter"terf" says straight transwoman they mean it literally as in a man who is attracted to women and who also presents as a woman. The TRA reads that and thinks mtf who is attracted to men...

That's why it's so difficult to comprehend their statements. They also can't understand normally stated concepts so when they read it then try to restate it back it comes out as nonsense.
