You may not have specifically said it in this conversation, but the fact that TRAs such as yourself support the definition of "lesbian" to include men means that lesbians who exclude men (who are usually trans-identified) are not (by your cult's definition) doing it out of simply being physically incapable of feeling attraction to males, but are just "transphobic" and not willing to date someone because they are "from an oppressed minority group" when the real reason is that a lesbian will never be attracted to a male, and trust me, most of them have tried very hard to be thanks to homophobia. If you're the type that doesn't think a lesbian rejecting a trans-identified male is transphobic, you're in the other camp who believes "genital preferences are valid". This is still harmful to lesbians because homosexuality isn't a "preference", it's an immutable biological trait. Acting as if homosexuals simply "prefer" one sex over the other gives credibility to conversion therapy, as does any other attempt to obfuscate the truth that homosexuality is immutable and biological. Not to mention the fact that the difference between men and women isn't just genitals; every single cell of our bodies are different.
