I made the mistake of talking it over with a friend who immediately decided the shop owner was the villain and the transwoman was the hero for “making him comply with the state’s law.” When I pointed out that this is just as likely to get Colorado’s law overturned because the Supreme Court has already ruled in the baker’s favor, she just stopped talking to me.
