What weird is women who are at least part way through transisioning, who get into drag. Suddenly, all the "girly" accuterments that originally set off their dysphoria are just fine.

have you noticed their rhetoric is changing? The criticism on some SJW gay/transexual subreddits is that, "they SECRETLY find these people attractive and thats why theyre overreacting to them!"....like the annoying rape rhetoric, the political implications, the carving out and hollowing of all meaning of the word gay/lesbian and homosexuality as if it means nothing. Pretty sure gay/lesbian sexual identity is made out of solid titanium since it's the last thing we're raised to want to be in a heterosexual culture. No, gay men are not secretly into vaginas and thats why we're telling them to leave us alone.

right! this is what gets me about the "genital preference" thing.... they say we're "socialized" to only like one kind of genitalia when it's literally the exact opposite?? lesbians are told their whole lives to like dick and the same with gay men with vagina. yet homosexuality has persisted throughout history and continues to persist despite this. if gay men were secretly into vagina they would just date women and live happily ever after? I know if I was secretly into penis I would literally just date any of the shit-ton of men who've expressed interest in me over the years. I don't need a transbian to suck dick, lol. almost like homosexuality is innate and unchangeable or something.

i tried to make a post here but it got deleted because of some mod rules but there was another "would you date a trans guy" post on a gay subreddit, this time a highly moderated one, and a bisexual woman was regulating it....yes, on a sub for gay men which i found incredibly strange but this is the amazing part to me: she put some sort of warning up saying, "the only acceptable non transphobic answer is genital preferences. Please report any transphobic answer. The trans person said she was "pre op and not on testosterone yet".

You would think this was a troll trying to make their group look bad but when you click on their profile, it's a 4 year old profile with lots of posts so it was an authentic genuine profile of a woman with breasts and a vagina asking gay men if they would date her. I gave the most obsequious, submissive, polite answer you could think of by saying "i dont think being gay is a social identity and i dont think they can fall in love with self identity" and my account got banned from that subreddit. So it's interesting how they DEMAND you say "genital preferences" because thats the only acceptable answer and then turn around and say we're gender fetishists. And when you read through all the responses, everyone is basically APOLOGIZING because their answer is "sorry, i have a genital preference" and there's a bisexual woman looking through all the responses making sure thats the only answer given. Jesus.

Apparently “no” doesn’t mean “no” if you’re a homosexual...

I rolled my eyes on the finale when she said said " my whole life people told me I couldn't do drag"

Really? Your whole life ? 🙄🙄🙄

that's.... literally just a woman performing extreme femininity. there's tons of female performance artists who do this????

on another note: looked up some pics of her without makeup, she'd be a cute butch... too bad she's straight and also batshit insane.

Honestly, she seems talented and if she wasn't mired in obsession with a fake identity she might be cool. She would have been cool in the 90s. As it is, she's kind of scary to listen to. What a waste.

Well, that explains this shit:

I gave up reading that masturbatory article half way through, but here are a few thoughts:

Are we doing Asianface now? Sure looks like it. Stunning and brave, though.

Gottmik references growing up in a very religious, conservative culture, and clearly interprets gender non-conformity as evidence of being transgender. I also got the distinct impression that this person felt more accepted as a trans man than as a gender non conforming woman. God forbid we think critically about this.

Def.

The part in her interview where she basically says when she came out her dad (?If I'm remembering right) was like "omg we knew something was off with you because you were a tomboy and were only friends with boys" is super frustrating.

I'm not being rude but Gottmik's make up literally reminds me of every single bio queen who turns up to gay bars (pre-COVID) here. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't even understand why bio queen is a thing. You're just a woman who dresses boldly. You don't need a fucking label for that.

I could almost understand if it were radical feminist performance art. If she turned around and said

Aha! You see! It was all a sham! [Something about performative womanhood]

I would probably slow clap and think 'Yeah, fair enough, you played the game and showed them for the fools they all are.'

Instead, however, she clearly just has a lot of shit going on that expresses itself through an unhealthy obsession with gender.

I used to be quite into Drag Race but:

  • It has definitely become a little saturated. When one season of Drag Race ends, the next season of Drag Race UK starts, and then halfway through that series the new series of Drag Race Canada begins and hey! now it's in the Netherlands too and Thailand, and Spain and Australia and... no. Over it.

  • They bend the knee to the gender bullshit because they know it's a money spinner (and I can't really blame them for that). Call me a gaytkeeper such wit but Drag only works when cisgender gay men are doing it. Trans identified male? Drag shouldn't be a platform for you to live out your AGP fantasies on stage. Woman? Dressing in a ball gown and wearing a lot of makeup isn't subversive, I don't care.

  • Too many Instagram Queens. They can do a makeup look and... nothing else. They can't sew a dress, they can't sing, they can't dance, they can't act and they aren't funny. Peak Instagram Queen was Scaredy Kat from RPDR-UK Season 1. The kid had never even bee to a drag show before and basically just played around with makeup in his room.

Where has everyone gotten this idea that it's a sin to be normal?

“Everyone is special in their own way!” Repeat x20,000 every year of school for ~13 years.

lol bio queen. a woman mimicking a gay man who mimics a woman. it's like some sort of inception to the point where a woman has to refer to herself as a woman in this context. and it's even funnier because she's a woman who believes she's a gay man trapped inside a woman's body mimicking gay men who mimic "bio women". Im a liberal but i can sympathize with how conservatives see this as the collapse of western civilization.

Fortunately, Victor Victoria didn't win Drag Race, a talented queen won instead.
