I don't really buy the 4-quadrant form but I'd prob be an authoritarian left, or some kind of socialist if we named it differently, ie, I would want to try to avoid "might makes right" and so have democratic intervention to push toward a more fair society. But I totally recognize the problems and am basically a depressed Platonist who sees humanity as incapable of governing itself at this point :).

But, I put communication and discourse high on the list of what's important, so part of my biggest issue with the US left these days is the intolerance of opposing views and debates. I've never been a big fan of the economic approaches of libertarians, but they do support free speech. And I'd get behind something like a guaranteed basic income... So I'm flexible, open to ideas, think of politics as trying to figure out the best way we can make a world that people can find happiness in so it's not like we have all the answers worked out...
