Do we need any more proof that all of these modern day "queer" identities are an exercise in virtue signaling and self-righteousness and NOT the manifestation of any innate sexual orientation? Any legitimate "asexual" would be appalled at the idea of an asexual who likes sex. This is just a way for left-leaning people to feel progressive while also commodifying a sense of victimhood, which has become increasingly valuable over the last 10 years.
