Trans kids are awesome, incredible, beautiful, and wonderful. Bigotry is not. Republicans need to stop obsessing over other people’s gender identity bc frankly it’s very weird and they’re doing a lot of harm to children who are just trying to be themselves.

There is so much gaslighting going on from these "Progressives" (and I myself am liberal on most issues) regarding "trans girls" in girls' sports. So much plain old misogyny.

Over and over these "Progressives" claim that "trans kids" are being banned from sports, when, in fact, "trans kids" can play any sport that's available, as long as it's with their own sex.

This is what I'd like to ask AOC :

What other group of athletes besides "trans girls" get to choose who they compete against?

What other group of athletes besides actual girls are expected to give up their medals and scholarships in order not to hurt other athletes' feelings?

Sorry, I can't stand AOC. From the time she jumped into that online Mermaids funder, she's been told about the dangers of puberty blockers (How do I know she knows? Because I left a long message with her office myself) Yet AOC blithely spouts rot like this knowing that she is complicit in sending gay kids off to a lifetime of being very expensive medical experiments under the guise of "transitioning."

I hope that she gets exposed and is forced back to working some shit job and perhaps learning some humility, because she is doing a lot of harm to kids.

I don't live in America anymore so it's hard for me to form any opinion on a politician because the info that ends up in front of me is highly editorialized and curated by the time it gets to me, but in my head I keep score, and so far AOC has been getting a lot of ticks in the negative column.

I am highly suspicious of any adult who uses these innocent kids to further his/her own political future. These trans kids are not humans to her, they are just tools. if 10 years from now, a new breed of kids popped up with a very powerful backing behind them, let's call them potato kids, and somehow the existence of potato kids harmed the trans kids, she wouldn't give a fuck, she'd make a "potato kids are awesome!" tweet and throw the trans kids to the wolves.

AOC comes off as somebody who has no principles other than money and power. Most politicians are like that. They get a large proportion of their income from lobbyists and bribery. They don’t bother read bills that they vote for or sign, because they don’t get paid to do that. They get paid to do what lobbyists and interests groups tell them to do. All that money they get from the taxpayers are nothing more than bonuses. This is regardless of which political party a politician belongs to, with very few exceptions. This is why I hate politicians. This is why I encourage people to build strong tightly-knit communities and buy locally. This is why we should be less dependent on government and stop treating it like a parent - a society that treats the government like a parent is a degenerate society.

I really admire Rep. AOC but these kinds of comments are frustrating...so many well-meaning "cis hets" don't think further than the progressive line TWAW and think being trans is the same as being gay and it does so much harm to gay people, especially gay kids...

AOC jumped in on an online fundraiser for the UK organization MERMAIDS, which was the main organization pushing the transitioning of kids.

I think that says a lot about AOC, none of it positive - either she's super stupid, super corrupt or just plain doesn't do her homework.

In any case, AOC made a point to support the transitioning of kids IN ANOTHER COUNTRY, which implies that she knows what she's doing to disproportionately gay children's mental and physical health and just doesn't care. For her, it's all about the virtue-signaling and the $$$ from Big Gender.

Right on the money. r/actuallesbians has had 1k-upvotes posts before where it was just a picture of AOC and title "I wish she would step on me" and comments full of "I wish she would step on me / she could do anything to me" etc. It is so fucking creepy.

    You just need to look at what she's advocating for to realise she's an idiot. She wants the minimum wage to be $24 USD an hour. The highest in the world, the entire world, is currently $12.6 USD. How clueless is she?
