😢 beautiful poem about a beautiful woman.

I remember where I first learned about Billy Tipton (and other women who lived as men or kept their sex a secret)... https://listverse.com/2008/09/04/top-10-men-who-were-really-women/

She was so beautiful that it makes sense why she lived as a man, imo. There's no way she could've been a successful jazz pianist without being constantly harassed (and underpaid for gigs) as a beautiful lesbian, especially traveling alone around with men in jazz bands. Hell, Ray Charles was taken advantage of and ripped off because he was a blind man. Billy Tipton would've experienced much worse.
