The last time I went to the gyno, the doctor made several vaguely disdainful comments about my “lifestyle.” So, I’m laying there just wishing she’d get the pap smear over with so I could leave the exceedingly uncomfortable situation. Providing fair and unbiased medical care for LGB people is still an issue, but the woke crowd doesn’t care about that. No, it’s all about calling women “birthing people” and letting transwomen pretend their penises should be seen by gynos.

It's either that or when you're asked if you're pregnant, you can't even end the conversation by saying that you're a lesbian. They continue to ask whether you're sexually active with a man regardless. Or one particular time, I got virgin shamed when I was asked when I would be needing a pap smear and I said I'd never had sex before. They asked me if I was sure since I was in my mid to late twenties, and they couldn't believe that I hadn't been with a man at all. Doctors do realise that lesbians exist, right?

We had a couple of good years where we could just laugh and say “I’m a lesbian.” And the doctor would be chill and understand there was no way you were pregnant and highly unlikely to have an std. Now, you can say that and they’ll just keep grilling you about having straight sex.

The asshole doctor also questioned me about having sex with men right after I said I was a lesbian. I told her I’d been sexually assaulted in college, but had been checked out and cleared years ago. She kept asking me if I had straight sex and then was confused when I started crying and asked to leave. People are so worried about “affirming” trans people in medicine, yet they look right past really shitty treatment of LGB people.

I’m sorry you got a shithead doctor too.

Well words don't mean anything anymore. "Lesbian" doesn't necessarily mean you don't have sex with men anymore, or it doesn't mean you didn't just decide that morning to be lesbian. Blame the woke crowd for making words not mean anything anymore. I sympathize with doctors who don't just take people's self identity as medical/biological fact anymore.
