How interesting that they've got the comments disabled, almost as if they're worried someone might, I dunno, correct their misinformative propaganda.

And why is a BBC journalist not fact-checking the truth about Stonewall himself?

Because he never thought to do so. Why would he, when it's all 100% completely and utterly true?

LOL. The BBC is a joke on this topic.

Media outlets have become so corrupt that Donald Trump, hardly Mr. Truth himself, gained a lot of currency by constantly spewing "fake news."

Trump was right then and he is right now.

If one ever watched The Trump Channel AKA Fox "News" before they parted ways, one would see that conservatives are more than equal to the Democrats in spouting "fake news."

Loved it when Hunte calls Stonewall a "queer space" - no it was fucking not. It was a gay space with a few drag queens, transvestites, whatever, who were allowed in because they were fun, or could be made fun of, and were misfits, like a lot of gays felt back then.

But the gay rights movement was about gay rights. Queer was a slur.

Anyone want to write Ben Hunte and correct him about Stonewall? His email address is on his Twitter account. People attracted to the same sex do not owe their rights to the rest of the alphabet; no more rewriting of gay history!

Stonewall was a bar owned by the Italian Mafia, and frequented by gay dudes, and like you said, a few drag queens and others. I cannot imagine these FTM gay man fetishits going in there and demanding gay dick, and these people who call themselves 'queer' and the ones who think 'trans women are women.' Even Marsha Johnson who was quite visibly mentally ill had the wherewithal to know that he was not a real woman and never referred to himself as such, or demanded other people validate him as such. He called himself a drag queen and a boy. (You probably already know all this, I'm just ranting.)

They made a complete fanfiction out of the real Stonewall Inn and the riots.

It's amazing watching history being rewritten right before your eyes, even while many people who remember the truth are still alive!

If nothing else shows the power of the gender lobby this does - rewriting the origins of gay liberation to brainwash the global public that transgenders were the liberators, instead of gays, who sometimes sacrificed all.

That is inherently homophobic because it is essentially claiming gays were essentially useless in our own civil rights movement. It's like saying white liberals are responsible for all Black civil rights gains.

It is so crazy. I was too young to remember Stonewall, but I was a supporter of gay rights from the 80s on.

There was no T in gay rights until prominent transgender activists deliberately (and admittedly) hijacked the gay rights movement for their own ends.

And here we are, because of the TQ+, the US congress is about to pass the Equality Act, which erases the legal standing of homosexual and homosexuality themselves.

Stonewall was a bar owned by the Italian Mafia

The same one that denied Nancy Pelosi entrance so she went into politics instead.

It is still a slur and will never not be one, so some UK member needs to have the BBC arrested for hate speech. I'd do it, but in my country the first amendment makes it impossible to punish verbal hate crimes.

If you're in the US, you can go to jail in California for misgendering. So the US does punish "verbal hate crimes" but only if they're "against" the TQ+

Cringe doesn't begin to describe it. Hearing a slur you were called as a teenager by the boy you had a crush on being normalized and being attacked for objecting to it makes hate speech even more hateful. The slur reclamation bullshit is just that, bullshit. Otherwise white people would not be deplatformed for using the N-word.
