This is honestly an issue with some men whether gay or straight, they seem to have a very 'Bro's before hoe's' mentality they defend their fellow male doing something towards females that they would hate having done to themselves.

Agreed. The irony is apparently the transman he was seeing fooled him well enough entertain a relationship for 2 months. How does he know the ftm's phallo isn't 'indistinguishable' as he put it, since the rest of her passes so well? He's such an expert on dicks but apparently can't tell a real man from a fake one. Wonder why he's singing the praises of SRS for transwomen saying it 'does wonders' for them, yet is dubious of SRS for transmen? We all know why 🙄.

Because he's a troll?

Tbh I think you're right. In one comment he knows a weirdly high amount about phalloplasty (to me, at least, but I'm not a gay guy, so if any guys want to correct me please do) including a bunch of terminology trans people use, and yet he dated a transman for two months without cluing in at all? And he just happens to have an obgyn aunt who he was discussing vaginoplasty with? Which like... He's 19 and gay, even if his aunt is an obgyn I have a hard time imagining that a gay male teenager wants to discuss vaginas of any kind with his freaking aunt. And it's subtle but he's ultimately pushing TRA talking points, even if he's acting like he's a dreaded "transphobe".

My theory is that they're trying to get agb banned by baiting it.

There was a similar post on AGB some days ago about another guy being deceived into a relationship with a transman for months.

If it was just the regular "is it transphobic to not date this guy?", then sure, I bet many guys have the same doubt nowadays (unfortunately). But this situation is too specific. Either it's the same guy, or it's a copycat, or it's different trolls making combined efforts.

Honestly, I've seen this more on the female side. Not trying to start "gender warring", but I've seen more women in the name of "sisterhood" defend other females doing things as you described the males doing. I've seen transmen (females) get a pass for things that transwomen (males) wouldn't.

I believe there are men & women who do engage in giving other men & women "passes", because they're part of that group. Whether it's the "bros before hoes" or the "sisterhood".

True, both sides definitely have their issues with 'gender blindness'.
