Until majority of hetero people don't get tired and see the danger of thsi ideology, nothing will happen. Gays are just too small of a minority and trans got the support of government and big LGBT organization. Maybe in the future where you will see a lot of people complaining about getting transed during teen years and havign life ruined. Maybe.

How can they, when saying anything against it is 'hate speech' and your technocratic overlords forbid you from dissenting?

Just piggybacking off of this-- someone made a great point to me a few weeks ago, that it might help straight people get on board with LGB Alliance if they a) see that many of us LGB people are and b) hear us say, "Hey, it's not bigoted for you to take a stand against transgender ideology; in fact, it would be homophobic of you to support it!" I think some straight people don't feel allowed to disagree with the belief in "gender identity" that is pushed by trans activists.

I have tried to warn everybody I know but they refuse to listen.

I did as well, but people were so blinded by media fueled Trump rage that it didn't matter. Nothing mattered, Trump was a manifestation of the devil and Biden was going to magically make it all better.

Instead they have enabled setbacks for women's rights and gay rights that will last decades if not centuries. They have literal blood on our hands.

Thanks for trying. I think as we see more official, institutionalized changes such as the questioning of Tavistock, we will slowly start to see more progress in the attitudes of people around us.

Just curious, what is the meaning of your username?

I prefer a more optimistic approach. It's easier to keep fighting if you haven't preoirdained a negative outcome yet.

Besides which a negative outcome can be reversed. Just keep going.

Well, I hope for american homosexual people. The amount of lesbians becoming gender neutral or trans is getting scary.

I completely agree. (I am an American, btw.) The thing is, you can't fight nature forever. Detransitioners prove this.

And if we don't keep going then those who realize they were just hurting themselves won't know where to look for support.

[–]Elvira95Viva la figa 15 insightful - 1 fun15 insightful - 0 fun16 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, there will be lots of detransition in the future. I'm sure.

Then what? How do we stop the destruction of gay and lesbian bodies before it starts?

Completely agree!

How do you fight when you're silenced or punished the minute you say one critical thing?

If you're looking for actionable items, there have been a few past threads on this but my suggestions are:

  • Provide support for people harmed by gender identity ideology. That means LGB people, especially teens, detransitioners, teenagers in general who may be pressured about transitioning by peers, and other marginalized groups being harmed by gender identity ideology (e.g. people with autism, women, etc.).

  • Boycott or refuse to buy products from companies that actively promote gender identity ideology. Certain feminine hygiene product companies, for example, if you're a woman. I was thinking it might be helpful for this sub if we got a list going of such companies.

  • Organize resources that we can share with people on the fence about gender identity ideology. Such as newspapers, research, etc. Some people posted today about the investigation into the Tavistock in the UK, for example; that's great because a) it brings us hope that the tide is turning and b) gives us an official resource that we can share with people who might be skeptical-but-not-yet-persuaded about gender identity ideology.

Just some ideas.

This is great, thank you.

We all peaked...we can be there for the others.
