This topic was probably what peaked me.

A homosexual couple can't make a child on its own. Yeah, you can have a child with another person, you can adopt, but you can't have a child simply by having sex with your same-sex partner. This can be a good or a bad thing depending on whether you want a child.

But nevertheless, it's a big point about homosexuality and the prejudice we face. Homophobes often target us by saying we can't have children. They often accuse us of not fulfilling our "biological mission". Many religions say that having children is an important, even essential part of life. Families often pressure gay/lesbian people into having kids. Even our existence is questioned, because for a lot of people we only exist to have kids.

So to say we might someday just have kids with a trans partner... It's not only failing to realize we want same sex partners, it completely ignores all the homophobia we've went through precisely because we can't have kids with our partners. They manage to be offensive two ways at once.

And they aren't fine with just saying "I'm gay but someday I might have a kid with a trans partner". They have to say "you're gay so someday you might have a kid with a trans partner".

Thank you for this comment. I feel badly for my gay friends that having kids can be difficult. As a bi woman I have no problem having kids. You need both sexes to have a baby. Fight me.

A transwoman with a functional penis is male and if she dates a gay man they aren't popping out any babies soon. Even if she inverts her penis she can't get pregnant and carry a child.

This isn't a movie. You can't have my uterus.

Transmen and women have a better chance, they just have to find a turkey baster.
