To be honest, I find r/LGBT not sad, but scary. It's just such a fake community, so heavily policed that you almost feel sniper's laser tickling the back of your head when you're there. If you dare to make even one simple disagreement with agenda, it will be immediate BANG and you're banned. That's why all content there is just patting each other backs in the most insincere way that just screams "didn't even bother to open the pic you posted lol".

I'm not kidding -- this subreddit freaks me the fuck out. It's just so dead despite the huge numbers of participants. You could replace all the activity there with literal bots and nothing would change. Compare it to the fucking r/askgaybros -- sub that is three times smaller yet feels like a fucking war zone. Sure, there's lots of trolls and what not, but that's exactly what makes it so alive and realist-...

Okay, nevermind, this is going too far.

I posted a thread there recently in response to a HIGHLY UPVOTED anti-intersex post, basically saying to them, look, this is unacceptable - why do you guys post & enjoy such blatantly discriminatory content? Why must you use our existence to further yourselves at our expense?

And shockingly, I didn't get banned, but within MINUTES of the most I had some random "nonbinary" guilt tripping me and being like "I was born nonbinary, don't you ever say it was a choice!" when I didn't even fucking MENTION anything about it other than "People are trying to use the existence of intersex people to prove nonbinary is good/valid/real, when these two concepts aren't remotely related."

I also got generic dumbfuck comments from people who clearly didn't read the post and don't care like "ur valid honey, intersex people will always be part of this community uwu" after I specifically made a post saying we shouldn't be discussed in a LGBT sub if they can't respect us, let alone the fact that a medical condition is not a goddamn identity, gender, or sexuality.

It really is a weird, brainwashed place. People don't read most posts, they'll just drop a generic "you're valid" comment, which means absolutely nothing and contributes nothing. And if they DO actually read, well then they suddenly get offended over it, especially if you bring up a real issue or concern you'll be accused of bigotry.

Speaking of warzones, there was a post recently about how there's no good reason to exclude transpeople from the military, but out of 333 comments, only one brings up the fact that they might need trans specific medical supplies in a war zone, and they may be vulnerable because of dysphoria, psychological issues. But sure, the military is known for accepting everyone and their grandma, especially those who threaten people to choke on girldicks and to eat bussy.

BRO ive been pointing out the logistical problems of transitioned people and no one has been able to answer my concern. They just say im bigoted and that since im gay I should see that it’s the same... so wildly offensive and just plain stupid in the end...

Everything's got to be love and rainbows, even atomizing people (you can't even count up the limbs and divide by four) with amorally superior firepower, satellite-controlled by a mountain dew-guzzling, doritos-eating 20-something in a bunker in North Dakota. Who, after making some red dots disappear, goes home and posts dank Pepe The Frog--may he rest in eternal peace--memes on Reddit.
