It's kinda weird since second person in English doesn't even include gender. If you're talking with somebody you wouldn't even use gendered words, you is neutral.

This is something I find weird about all those "she/her" and "he/him" profiles. It's like people think they're hot topics that everyone is talking about lol

It's so that they can police how others talk about them in third person. It's a terrifying thought that this has become the norm.
