In no way does a phalloplasty resemble a real penis. If plastic surgery had advanced to that degree then you can be sure that a Google Images search would reveal the marketing materials promoting this genius/miracle of modern medicine.

There is no way you can reconstruct the complexity of a penis, especially since the penis is not just what you can see. It is an organ that is part internal and part external.

The penis is composed of different elements with a very particular structure, and you can't reproduce that in surgery, at least not yet.

It may look like a penis in picture, just like neovaginas do but they are not the real thing either, far from it.
