I just thought I would post about what is happening behind the scenes at the moment with your mod team and clarify a few things regarding the sub.

For various different real-life reasons we are currently down to just two regular moderators and as such, it is a bit of struggle to keep up with all the things needed to make sure the sub runs smoothly.

I would like to request that you observe the rules at all times, in particular regarding the types of posts you make. Please keep rules 2 and 3 in mind.

Rule 2. Appropriate Content: Why LGB and TQ+ should no longer be part of the same organization. LGB news, concerns, history, and/or personal affairs. Other topics must demonstrate applicability towards LGB or "dropping the T".

3. Off-Topic Posts / Comments: No anti-trans memes/mockery. We're not a debate or AMA sub - no "whataboutism" or "Keep The T!". Straight/trans allies may post as long as content is LGB-relevant - no validation threads. No derailing posts.

We also have rules around language for a reason - we are not about degrading people or stooping to the same level as our old friends at Gender Cynical. We do not want to be giving the gender identity brigade any opportunity to point the finger at us and use what we post as justification for why the homophobe Admins at Reddit banned us.

As a team, we were very clear that the same principles that underpinned our sub on Reddit would follow us here. If you thought we were putting on an act or just playing lip service to that you were mistaken.

We don't hate trans people, we hate what the ideology being pushed in their name has done and is doing to LGB people. Please keep that in mind when you post here.
