Some of my favourite quotes have to be:

"I got two boy pussys." Yes, men who love men are gonna go wild for pussy. Why not add that she's got a facial sphincter while she's at it?

"My clit is a mini penis." Again, a highly desirable trait among gay men.

"We are the ultimate bottom." :l

"Give it to me straight." Well, yes, that's what she's looking for, right? Straight sex.

I fucking hate the term "boy pussy" even when used by gay men (to mean asshole) and I hope it dies. Seriously think that's a big problem of why ftms are doing this shit is because gay men were already degradingly referring to buttholes as "boy pussies" anyway.

Also, I hate hate HATE the concept of "bottoms" being inferior. Actually I hate the concept as a whole anyway. In my experience nobody who uses that word unironically is ever going to be a fun person to be around. But she's basically implying that if you're a male and you "bottom" you may as well be a female, and since "bottoms" are considered submissive/subordinate/beneath "tops" or men, then that has very sexist implications.

Of course, to be clear, this isn't a FTM's fault. The gay community has to answer for this because they started it. It's sad that FTMs are going along with it, but still. I am not any less of a male because I'm feminine and/or because I have zero desire to stick my dick in some guy's ass.

They're both honestly concepts that need to die off, because they're really not helpful for anyone.

I've noticed top and bottom is starting to seep into the lesbian community too, with women stereotyping other women as tops or bottoms, or saying X has top or bottom energy. https://www.reddit.com/r/BiologicalLesbians/comments/jbhx5y/heres_some_bingo_cards_for_yall/

or saying X has top or bottom energy.

What even this shit mean? If you don't resort to stereotypes, this shit is practically meaningless.

The whole thing relies solely on stereotypes. I guess tops are supposed to be butch and dominant, and bottoms are femme and submissive, but like, that's just using straight dynamics in lesbian relationships. I'm sure there are women who have that dynamic, but I doubt it's the majority.

I have no clue lol. Double point on queer bingo for being both homophobic and sexist?

I'm confused and a bit scared to ask... what even is a clitoris? My knowledge of it is exclusively limited to memes that are, "Oh, men can't find the clit"

I was under the impression from 5th grade sex ed that there wasn't anything that sticks out at all or resembles a penis in the slightest?

[–]lovelyspearmintLesbeing a lesbian 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

The defense FTMs make about a clitoris being a micro penis is that technically the clitoris and clitoral hood act somewhat like a penis and foreskin when a woman is aroused. The clitoris is a small sex organ full of nerves that engorges when a woman is aroused; the clitoral hood protects it outside of arousal so it doesn't cause too much discomfort in other situations. The whole 'men can't find the clit' is referring to the fact that men often don't go out of their way to stimulate the clit before or during intercourse.

However, it can't be considered a penis because it isn't. It doesn't have a urethra, it doesn't get 'hard' or have any function outside of sexual pleasure. That hasn't stopped FTMs putting hormone cream on their clits to engorge them artificially. I don't recommend looking this up, it's fucking disgusting.

Spearmint you are incorrect that a clitoris does not get hard or enlarge at all. It is normal for it to enlarge slightly during female arousal, due to blood flow in the area. The nerves of the clitoris extend into the vagina as well, which is what produces vaginal orgasms. Both "clitoral" and "vaginal" orgasms originate from the clit.

Wasn't sure about the hard part, but engorge means swelling due to blood/water/other liquid.

Hmm... well then... I'm glad I was still a virgin when I found out I was gay, and I hope I don't get forced into a situation that provides confirmation for that.

I don't understand why on one end they've got people hating their bodies and trying to change them, and then they've got people overly embracing their bodies as though they were something they aren't. There's some of them slicing bits off, some of them pretending things are what they aren't, and more that flat out just say "LICK MY GIRLDICK/BOYPUSSY"

Self acceptance is supposed to be the key to stopping this, but then they find a way to turn self acceptance into something worse than what they started with.
