Sometimes I look at trans content and I think to myself, "this looks like 24/7 insecurity and hog-tying your mental health to the opinions of total strangers." This is one those times.

"Causes you no harm"

Saying, "Make America Great Again, four more years!" causes you no harm, but it makes right-wingers feel acknowledged and valid.
Saying, "Allahu Akbar," causes you no harm, but it makes Muslims feel acknowledged and valid.
Saying, "Sieg Heil," causes you no harm, but it makes members of the National Socialist Party feel acknowledged and valid.

Shall we mandate all of those?

When I was ask what I identify as at a hospital, I said I identify as an eagle. They said they couldn't put that down. Bigots

I'll start respecting "preferred pronouns" when the same TRAs pushing for them stop referring to me as "they/them" solely because I'm androgynous and apparently even "unmanly" online.

Which is never. Because it doesn't matter how many times I tell them, they're set on seeing me as an "other."
