Actual fact: The crossover between intersex and trans is low. Lower than the average person, I'd say. A lot of trans people CLAIM to be intersex, but they're almost always liars as they claim to have genitalia and "conditions" that aren't possible (eg: literally saying they were born as a "Girl with a penis and boobs", or saying they are a fully functional hermaphrodite)

When you DO get an intersex trans person, it is pretty much always someone who was bullied, coerced, or shamed into transitioning as an attempt to "fix" their intersex condition. A lot of them detransition. A lot of them are unhappy and "sex reassignment surgery" usually causes more health problems than what it tried to "fix."

It's disgusting that trans activists use intersex people as "proof" or an argument point, or insist that the communities are linked, when transgender activism is inherently harmful to intersex people by spreading lies and telling us we need to change our bodies to fit in. Most transgender people, as individuals, are also typically toxic to those with intersex conditions.

Also, there is no such thing as "A trans woman with a natal vagina" or "A trans man with a natal penis." Unless you are literally saying that normal biologically female women can identify as FtMtFs or something, this is ridiculous and makes no sense.

If you want to get pedantic, yes, you can have XY chromosomes and be outwardly female, and have XX chromosomes and be outwardly male. However these people will appear normally male/female at first glance, and typically do not know their chromosomes are "reversed" until puberty or later. An XY female couldn't and wouldn't be a "trans woman" because there's nothing to "transition" to. They are already outwardly female, they will have a female body shape and female reproductive system with the exception of ovulation. People will already see them as female.

If they meant that some people can be born with both sets of genitals, that too is wrong. People can be born with ambiguous genitalia, but it is 1. Stupidly rare and very unlikely the average person would come across such a thing in their dating life, and 2. It's own issue and not comparable to "the genitals you like". People with these kinds of disorders also struggle with shame about their body and may have trouble dating, but unlike trans you don't see them demanding that everyone get over their "genital preferences" and fuck them. It's almost like when you really DO have a medical condition you can't help and are a minority, you don't have that sense of entitlement and power to demand service from others. Who would've thought?

So in summary, this is about as bullshit as it gets.

Also, I like how at the end they say something about "purposefully excluding transgender people from your idea of attraction." Yes, because my attraction is totally something I'm doing willfully, at random. Honestly, if I had the power to decide who gets to be in my attraction pool, don't you think I would, oh I don't know, CHOOSE TO BE INTO WOMEN??? Jesus fucking christ.

It's the same old bullshit calling homosexuality a choice!

This is a great analysis. Thank you for weighing in!

And what if XY female decides to Identify as a trans man? Just wondering becsuse I've seen this before. Especially with trans women who are XX male. They try and use this as a "gotcha!" Gets even worse now that they're trying to see if there's any connections between being intersex and being trans. If sex dysphoria/transgenderism is some form of intersex.

Then I suppose they are a FtM but I don't see how it's that much different from being a non-intersex FTM, just that they might use their XY diagnosis as justification for "I was SUPPOSED to be male/I am really male." But just like non-intersex trans people, you cannot change your body. Yes, we can theorize that we were "meant" to be normal, but that's not the case, and no amount of saying "I should have been..." will change the present.

Ah... That makes sense. Thanks again for answering my question(s). I honestly don't see either, trans identified XX or XY females, being male. But I've seen them try and use their diagnosis as a justification as you said.
