If a straight guy got with a trans women and had no idea, then it would be rape by deception. The guy may think/is straight because he's been lied to.

If a straight guy claims to be okay with it, then I wouldn't call him straight. Somewhere in this ridiculous alphabet, he's got a letter.

Agreed. It's deception pure and ismple and I'm sorry but I think deception of that caliber should be worth jail time.

He'd be bisexual then assuming he was actually attracted to women. Just most likely a Gynephelic Bisexual. * Gynephilia = Attraction to femininity regardless of sex * Androphilia = Attraction to masculinity regardless of sex

I totally agree. A while back a girl actually got arrest for pretending to be male for sex link

Edit: what's the bets if she claimed to be trans her sentence wouldn't be so long?

This one, too.

Some choice quotes about that case:

One victim saw images of Watts without her disguise. Watts initially claimed the picture was her cousin and then claimed it was Jake trying out women’s clothing. When a victim asked Watts why Jake’s bedroom was pink, she said it used to be a female relative’s room.

"When the police told me Jake was in fact called Gemma I thought this was not really real."

"It’s been life-changing for all of the victims involved. They believed they were in a relationship with a young teenage boy, to then find out this was actually a female."

"They have been completely taken in by Gemma Watts. They all believed they were in a relationship with a male."

"I think there will be further victims, who were in a relationship with Watts, who will now realise she is a woman."

This from the judge:

"None of them would have consented to sexual activity with you." (One victim was 16, legal to have sex with a 21-year-old.)

Also the judge, from the Evening Standard:

"she (the 16-year-old) felt physically sick when she found out you were a girl. She too has had suicidal thoughts."

Everyone involved (the victims, the law enforcement) is horrified by her lying about her sex, not her age. Everyone understands lying about one's sex negates consent. They're almost ignoring she's also a pedo.

And yet say the magical word trans, and sexual assault is suddenly ok.

There were a couple of cases where persons were charged with rape in the UK due to deception. They were pre-transition trans people though. One of the cases was R v McNally [2013] EWCA Crim 1051 but I can't remember the other. These cases went a bit beyond simply not disclosing the person's sex. But you have to wonder how the law will work— as there is room for rape by deception where the other person clearly thinks you're X sex, that deception is deliberately maintained, and especially where the person has not transitioned.
