I'm curious why those men want to hide their penises during sex. I've never heard of this before. Or are you saying this is specifically a porn thing?

If anything I think it's more common in real life. Porn producers would prefer to showcase as much of the actors' bodies as possible to attract more people, so something like jockstraps wouldn't help. Some amateur guys post content wearing jockstraps, though. And I've read many gay guys telling their experiences about wearing jockstraps during sex. In fact more than one guy I met in dating apps talked about wanting to do it lol

I mean, some guys go as far as wearing metal locks (I forget the name of that device). Wearing a jockstrap is a way milder version of that. Some guys like being dominated as bottoms, and wearing jockstraps reinforces it. Not to mention that many guys simply enjoy how they look in jockstraps, and wearing clothing during sex (even if it's just underwear) is a very common fetish.

My mention of this sexual practice in this topic is because the cis gay sexual experience is quite diverse. If you check men who show themselves sexually online, some men like showing only their penis, while some men like showing everything but their penis. Obviously there are also many other sexual expressions in between.

However, when it comes to FtM, although they preach that "most FtM don't like using the female genitalia", it seems like all of the FtM who are showing themselves sexually online make sure to always center the experience around their female genitals. And obviously they always do so while labeling it gay porn, gay sex, gay pictures, etc. Their sexual experiences are way less diverse in this way.

I imagine this serves two things. Obviously many of the cis guys making porn aren't gay, maybe not even bi. So for these guys, having sex with FtM means they're able to have straight sex while keeping the gay audience. In other hand, it's a way for FtM to normalize straight sex for gay men. I bet that some of these cis actors are gay men that felt peer pressured into recording straight sex with FtM - imagine the drama if it was known that they keep refusing having sex with trans?

It seems like wanting to reject their male sexual organ and pretend to themselves their ass is a sex organ and they're doing penis in vagina act. I think one of effect of an heteronormative sexist society is many gay trying to thing in hetero way or imitating hetero dynamics, even in terms of sexuality. It's sad.

Maybe it's an effect of heteronormative influences, but my view is: so what? I don't wanna go the TQ route of "it's a social construct, so it's bad".

In the end of the day these are sexual acts between two consenting adult cis men. I'm fine with that.

We're being told by the TQ+ supporters all the time that our gay relationships are heteronormative. Frankly I can't do the same. For me a gay guy is only heteronormative when he rejects his gayness, when he starts doing sexual acts with women, with non-binary people, with trans people, etc.

Heteronormative is simulating hetero dynamics, being it in relations by having gender roles or during sex act, by imitating the dynamics of acts involving two different sex anatomy. Of course, consenting adults can do what they want. Still, I find fucking depressing to see heteronormativity in an homo couple.
