My grandad, a lifelong working-class Cumbrian miner, unionist and Labour voter would be rolling in his grave if he knew what Labour had become.

People say that every time labour changes their stance on anything, and this statement isn't even representative of the PLP. I never bothered joining LGBT Labour because as far as I can tell all they do is put a float on at the pride parades, they don't have any influence.

They DO have influence -- they got Rosie Duffield to apologize for saying only females have cerixes after a week of bullying/violent threats and Keir Starmer didn't say a word to support her.

Starmer sits on the fence so much he might as well be married to it. I did have some hopes for him (compared to Nandy and Bailey) but he's being such a let down. He's fairly good at PMQ but that's about it. He's also falling into the trap of saying why the Tories are bad for Britain rather than focusing on why Labour are good for Britain and that's not going to win the votes.

How pathetic, another reason that I can no longer support the Labour Party, she doesn’t believe this, she’s simply doing it to appease the bullies, that’s cowardly. In a few years time she’ll be saying she never believed this when it’s more politically convenient to do so...
