It doesn't surprise me at all.

I've seen this type of gay guy so much on social media. The gay guy who is against "masc4masc", who idolizes TQ+ and heavily criticizes other gay men, who takes pride in being so feminine (because hey, he quotes stuff from RuPaul!). If there's anything in common, it's that they're never even remotely feminine.

If anything the actually androgynous/feminine guys seem to not be liked by the TQ/NB crowds.

Sounds like a mega douche. Also, I noticed that too. Like, in the anime communities where they have "traps" (basically dudes who intentionally make themselves look like girls but aren't trans) or femboys, they would straight up go after them. Insisting that they should just come out as trans and refer to them as "eggs" because they're so feminine. Talk about reinforcing gender roles. :/

Yeah, when I was more androgynous I've been asked if I was trans too. People love to gaslight and act like this never happens, even though I've personally heard it. I've also seen some androgynous guys on Youtube having to make videos clarifying that they're not trans. They seemed to be kinda annoyed because so many people insisted on this.

When people try to convince gay men that they should like FtM, they often use images of masculine bearded FtM. Sometimes people also say that gay men are attracted to masculinity (which for them means that masculine FtM are also attractive). For their logic to work they have to ignore androgynous men, or at least pretend that no gay man feels attraction to androgynous men.

People are so worried about possibly excluding someone but they're totally fine with excluding gay men and lesbian women that are outside of these gender roles...

Heh, you had that and I almost went FTM due to the trans people I interacted with. Didn't help that I'm not the most feminine alongside internalized biphobia I used to have. I have seen male YT (Trevor Moran) who tried transitioning because of his so called "fans," broke down, and stopped.

From what I seen, they usually just tell gay men to be attracted to trans men. If you didn't like that "he" had a vagina, just use his ass, and if you were a bottom? Strap on (or phallophasty since that's obviously the same to the real things).

That, and they use intersex people as a prop like it's nothing (but whine when it's done to them).

It's funny how these people hate masculine gay men because "muh toxic masculinity" and because they don't think we're gay enough, yet they want effeminate gay men to "come out as trans" and they want androgynous gay men to identify as non-binary. In essence, they don't want gay men to exist. Yet these same people have the audacity to whine about homophobia?

Cis guys who do this are getting "the best" of both worlds. On one side, they get to virtue signal for criticizing men that are more masculine than them. On the other side, they also get the social benefits of looking masculine. I don't know how many threads I've seen on Twitter of cis gay men criticizing "toxic masculinity"... and when you look at the pics, the thread is full of masculine bearded men, some which are even exposing their muscles. But of course they have to virtue signal by mocking men who are slightly more masculine than them.

Something I also always remember was when I saw two guys having an argument in a gay community. At some point A said to B that B was a normative cis white man. I decided to check their profiles and they could as well be brothers. Same skin tone, same hairstyle, same beard, same body type, same type of masculinity...

People talk so much about toxic masculinity, but I actually think they only accept masculinity when it's toxic. If you post a pic of yourself showing your muscles just for fun, you might get criticized for your normative masculinity. But if you post the same pic with a self derogratory or otherwise negative caption, then it's fine.

On the topic of masculinity, these woke freaks will say "toxic masculinity", but they will never mention any example of positive masculinity. I see the word "toxic masculinity" as a slur against men and masculinity, because people who say that often tend to hate men or want men weak. There are negative examples of masculinity, but the way I see it, those things are negative things in a masculine form. Good things and bad things can either be masculine, feminine or a bit of both.

A man being muscular is good if he wants to be muscular or if it's because he's worked hard. If he becomes arrogant about it, then he's a jerk, and most other men will see him as a jerk. But woke freaks see any kind of confidence as arrogance, so we should never listen to them. Male or female. Ironically, these same freaks also attack femininity, but they deny doing that.
