hey I'm new here, but I washed up from the reddit lgbdropthet purge. I miss it, and I wish I had it as a safe reddit to disagree with the craziness. The usual, I'm sure. I'm a gay man, mid 30s.

Today I'm cleaning house, getting high, hanging out with my dogs. All weekend I've had the most extraordinary disagreements on r/askgaybros. They've come for us.

Hope you're settling in here. And that there continues to a be a "here" to settle into, of course... (always waiting for the other TRA shoe [man-size pink pump as big as a house?] to drop now)

I like the sound of your Sunday schedule. Well, the IRL part, anyway; the rest... kinda gives me flashbacks. Jeez. I can only hope that this is evidence that they're overreaching and it'll all be a Pyrrhic victory in the end.

Though so far, when TRAs attack... well, it can't help but bring the "Game of Thrones" episode "Hardhome"'s final sequence (with us as Jon Snow & Co.) to mind.

Part of me wonders if there would be an interest for a specific LGB history sub. Then I remember that I haven't moderated anything since livejournal and have no idea how to go about it.

It's best to just post all the history stuff here, so that not only can we be accused of transphobia but also of gay/les/biwashing trans history as well.

update on my kitten (she's called Sasha): she is free from fleas thanks to an anti flea liquid I got at the vets, and she had a "freeedom!" run around the house smashing into my plant pots. She got tired tho due to the drug and the heat wave so she slept and napped like a pro for most of the day. She napped at the window and once slammed into the closed window not realizing the glass between her and actual freedom. She also escaped the other night late at night through the open window in the kitchen, and I found her in my neighbor's garden among the tomatoes standing stoically and not moving an inch (my neighbor has dogs). I found her with my flashlight and she immediately ran towards me when i opened the fence. Freedom is overrated. lmao.

Found her lodged between double windows the other day and she was in some sort of Jesus on the cross pose sleeping, but I was convinced she died until she moved. hahaha

She is hilarious.

Was productive this week, and got shit done so I am happy as a clam. Not enjoying the heat tho. Ugh. Please don't kill us, Mother Nature. We give you plastic and politicians. uwu
