They’ve been policing languages for a while now. From trying to dictate how gendered language shouldn’t me gendered to what a woman/man can be.

It's fucking ironic isn't it? The people who want pronoun declarations upon meeting someone are saying we're language policing.

The people who want you to tell your barista your pronouns think the definition of biological functions is too much. These people are such fucking liars.

Very much so! I just don’t get it. They can’t just have their cake and eat it too, they have to eat the whole casserole since they are greeedy

The reply who HAS a uterus can say it feels like a period because she's had a period.

I can say it's like falling off a building, but I don't know because I've never fell off a building. A man can't say it feels like a period because he's never, and will never, have one.

Also, NASA sets it's atomic clocks by my period. I rarely have cramps, and know when it will end by when it starts. So, no, periods are not defined by cramps because moids are mentally ill.

I'm just waiting for the trans guys to start gaslighting normal guys by saying "trans guys can get kicked in the balls too!11!!" I don't know why either sex would be so desperate to try to assume the extremely painful experience of the other sex...

[–]notdelusionalbased faggot 6 insightful - 3 fun6 insightful - 2 fun7 insightful - 3 fun -  (5 children)

lol I was thinking it could get as pathological as female bodied trans saying they get blue balls, retrograde ejaculation, or prostatitis.

[–]shveya 6 insightful - 4 fun6 insightful - 3 fun7 insightful - 4 fun -  (3 children)

Maybe an Aiden will eventually sue a doctor for not giving her a prostate exam.

Men love shoving things into women's butts too much for that to happen. A woman will always be able to get a prostate exam.

It's harder NOT to get one these days.

[–]thecandyman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

What if Aiden's doctor is a female?

[–]Shinjin_NanaNopes faster than an Aeldari Jetbike 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I would wonder why a woman would be a proctologist instead of a gynecologist, but that is a fair point.

Congratulations, you made my physically shudder reading that sentence lol.

[–]JulienMayfair 5 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 1 fun6 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

"trans guys can get kicked in the balls too!!!"

This is by far the funniest thing I've heard all day!!

[–]fuck_reddit 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

Idk, "NASA sets it's atomic clocks by my period." is pretty damn good...

[–]luckystar 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah, for some odd reason trans guys aren't demanding men change everything about the way they speak about their bodies. Can't quite place a finger on it.

[–]fuck_reddit 5 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 0 fun6 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Probably cause the regular straight guy would just hit them in the crotch to prove his point lol.

[–]blahblahgcer 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

Getting kicked in the vagina is pretty painful, but when I thought about mens reactions to getting hit in the balls, I realize that it's not actually that bad.

(I did martial arts for a few years and sometimes people would miss the pad and actually kick me)

[–]fuck_reddit 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Yeah I've heard conjecture that for both sexes getting hit in the groin is pretty painful. Just about the only difference I'd argue is it's easier to hit a guys balls cause they're external. Also that sounds really painful... Honestly, it hurts a ton, but sometimes I think guys overreact, but idk, maybe some guys are more sensitive down there than others...

[–]blahblahgcer 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Yeah. Maybe it's because they're external so they have more like. room to splat? idk lmao I'm not a biologist

[–]fuck_reddit 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I would think it makes them easier to hit, but yes, being more easily splat might also be it... lol(I am no biologist either)

I can guess which subreddit is next to be banned.

[–]fuckupaddamsBisexual Terve 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Which subreddit is this

[–]yousaythosethingsFind and Replace "gatekeeping" with "having boundaries" 13 insightful - 1 fun13 insightful - 0 fun14 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

I think they probably mean r/periods because it is being moderated by a woman who expressly refuses to police use of “women” and “female.”

[–]Criticallacitirc[S] 10 insightful - 1 fun10 insightful - 0 fun11 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

It was TumblrInAction

[–]PassionateIntensity 9 insightful - 1 fun9 insightful - 0 fun10 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't understand why they haven't banned TIA yet. They said meaner trans-critical things than half the GC subs did.

[–]Criticallacitirc[S] 7 insightful - 1 fun7 insightful - 0 fun8 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Because TIA is mostly straight white men, the core reddit user.

TumblrInAction appeared to be the source.

That's cool. Just to make trans identified men more comfortable, every time they make a really big shit, we can allow them to say they just gave birth. And then next time the opportunity comes up, they can use the phrase "As a mother..." because they've "given birth." Because it's all about MTF feelings, women can go fuck themselves. Men are the real women now. And why not, when there are so many handmaidens ready and eager and willing to give away everything we have to them.

The person who replied misses the point so hard. She says she can "say something feels like her period when it isn't", a use of language perfectly consistent with the OPs point. Yet accuses her of language policing?

[–]fuckupaddamsBisexual Terve 8 insightful - 1 fun8 insightful - 0 fun9 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Handmaidens. Handmaidens everywhere.

Going on and on about nothing.

Accurate summary of the pronoun game.

Stop using words you don't know the meaning of Princess Bride moment. I was pregnant so I haven't had a period in over a year but I have had mood swings and cramps. It doesn't discount my experience but using the wrong terminology just makes you look silly. Transwomen do not get periods. Transmen do (or can) so just get over it.

If you are that sensitive you must need your meds adjusted sweetie. Oh no, talking down to them only makes them feel more like a woman 😫 You can feel and identify however you want but you don't have a fucking period. GOSH. IDIOTS.

[–]fuck_reddit 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

"Noooo you don't understand, I need everyone to think I experience regular physical pain to be a woman!"

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Words have meaning. That's generally how we communicate a mutual understanding. Corrupting those meanings doesn't advance a language so much as blur and obliterate it.

You don't claim Alzheimer's when you've forgotten someone's name any more than you claim to experience a 'period' when you're not a woman.
