God, this is so bad. I need people to understand that sometimes there are groups and places where they just don't belong and never will. And this is the same for EVERYBODY. I can't help but feel somewhat responsible for this situation where straight girls are transitioning to be gay men, because I've written a lot of fanfiction in my life, but always with the mindset that this is not real; this is from women TO women; this is just for FUN. Meanwhile people like this must've been in the same culture, reading stuff with a completely different mindset. Fuck.

Same. I can’t even enjoy genderbent fics anymore because all I can think is that some pornsick transbian is finding it validating.

Omg GP is the bane of fanfic

Yes! There’s nothing like reading a bunch of tags that sound pretty good, then they hit you with that “GP!YourFavoriteCharacter” right at the end. No thank you.

Like, bro, just have your fav character get out the strap, no need to trans the fic. It’s usually bisexuals who write them like that, I think. So maybe it’s not so offensive to them? I would avoid tagging it lesbian if there is gonna be some weird futanari shit tho.

It's absolutely still offensive to us.

Thanks for weighing in! I wondered. I know some bi women who write fics like that but I figured it couldn’t be all of them. Lol. My best female friend is a married febfem and she likes her “dudes like dudes” and “chicks like chicks” and no chicks+dicks, her words.
