what does “get bent” even mean, where does it come from? Just saw it in jkrowlings replies on twittler under the tweet about detransitioners. Roll over and just take it is politically incorrect? Because that is how it sounds.

Basically to get bent:

Step 1 - have a penis

Step 2 - bend it or have someone bend it for you

Step 3 - experience intense penile pain

It might be from the 90's, or at least, it used to be popular then.

EDIT - hmm, Google is showing me it was used in a college setting in the 60's, and possibly had homophobic meanings too. (Bent = not straight.) It could also be related to "Don't get bent out of shape..." Fuck, now I'm over-thinking this...

Bent has a much longer history. It's also the name of a play depicting two gay men in a Nazi concentration camp. It's a very moving play. Edit: spelling
