Including familiar names, like Alex de Campi, Heather Antos, Gail Simone, Maggs Visaggio, Erica Henderson, and our old friend Zoe Quinn. These nice 'ladies' get together to scheme against others and wreck careers in the name of wamen and personal financial gain.

On June 25, 2020 De Campi publicly accused DC Comics writer Scott Snyder of lying when he pledged not to abuse, harass, or groom women.

I'm more disgusted by these types of lack of self-respecting acts than the social extortion. Have some fucking spine.

The existence of these groups is no surprise, with the media companies being the most egregious example with their coordinated propaganda and hit pieces, but it is truly surprising that there weren't explicit leaks before.

From a glance, it seems there was innuendo, threats, and the usual manipulation tactics, but no outright false sexual assault allegations? Would it make a difference even if there were (accountability appears unlikely in this climate)?

I'm similarly surprised there wasn't a leak sooner. While it was well suspected there was such a group, due to coordination and the references to it mentioned in the article, the group was pretty big even if it was dominated by a relatively small number of maniacs. It's something of an achievement to have avoided leaks despite having people with mental illness and/or significant personality disorders. In fact most of those people I listed in my earlier comment would have one or both of those issues.
