Hello, fellow rat. I just arrived myself.

If I could figure out how to mass unfriend ppl at FB, I'd quietly get rid of about 300 virtue signalers accusing me of being a racist for not virtue signalling myself, despite them having NO idea how I live my life or what I do quietly. I'd delete my account but I want to keep up with actual friends and family. Guess I'll just sit down and start clicking that mouse and purging them one by one.

Just remove Facebook completely and email people you want to stay in contact with.

Facebook is driven by conflict. Conflict brings people back to the page and keeps the attention. An app developers only job is to keep your eyes on their app longer. So if you're typing out a long reply multiple times an hour you're spending a ton of time bolstering FB stats.
