Firefox threatens to break if new root certificate is not downloaded. ~ They say: "A root certificate is a **trusted authority** that verifies the authenticity of websites". I don't know these people, so why should I trust them? I plan to wait and see what happens.

Occasionally Firefox will block me from opening a web page even when I am willing to accept the risks. I try to click on "Advanced" and look for the button "Accept the risk and continue".... and sometimes Firefox hides that option.

Unapproved certificates could be abused to frighten people away from looking at harmless content.
