I've noticed lately drinking hot tea doesn't leave me feeling as good as cold tea.
However in taiwan and china there is a cultural belief that hot drinks are good for you and cold drinks are bad for you because your body has to heat it up. But I think that may be a remnant from the historical need to boil water for it to be safe to drink, but that's just a personal theory.
