In theory, low-wave radiation is perfectly safe, if it's low-energy enough.

In practice, we haven't a clue how the brain works. It shouldn't cause cancer, but it might mess with the way neurons talk to each other.

Then again, there are some cancers we haven't a clue on. :-|
