Compared to other TIs, White's pretty rational. He's still objectively deluded.

Blaire is only rational when he's going up against the more loud and insane TRAs. I think that the mask would slip if he were to debate a radfem or a Gender Critical person. That's the biggest reason why he doesn't debate them and the reason I believe this is because of 2 things he's done.

  • He had a debate scheduled with the late Magdalen Berns (rip) in 2019 via Twitter where they would be debating about the legitimacy of transgenderism. Magdalen at the time was in decent health and was ready to debate him but he kept postponing and rescheduling the date. I believe he did this about 3 or 4 times. But then Magdalen's cancer worsened and she was put into the hospice and that is when Blaire came out and said that he didn't feel comfortable debating someone with a brain tumor. But the thing is, the months prior Magdalen was in decent health and ready to do it.

  • In 2020, he made a Twitter post saying that he wanted to speak and debate against Radfem/GC person and he never followed through on it despite getting some takers.

So taking all this into account, I'm convinced that Blaire knows how he would be looked at if he debated Radfems or Gender Critical people who would pushback on his unsubstantiated claims so he'll try to find any way to avoid it.

I'm not surprised if he's avoiding the more analytical questions about the ideology, but the fact he actually postponed an announced debate a few times is something I got to see with my own eyes, so I can stop being skeptical and at the same time be entertained. Can you post them for me please? It's a bit hard for me to find on my end because it's old news.
