Great responses. I just don't understand, what he means by women not being sympathetic to TIMs. The fact is, women are FAR too sympathetic. To the point of collusion with the erasure of our sex class. What else does he want? Total capitulation from 100% of women to a 100% of their demands? Are we all supposed to cuddle dysphoric males and feel grateful that they are not masculine (at least, in this case)? What kind of logic is that?

The thing is, I am sympathetic to their suffering. What I'm not sympathetic to is their demands to change reality, our language and our behaviour, so that they can live their unreality unperturbed. They have dysphoria and they should totally seek and get the help they need, just like any other person with physical and mental issues. The day they understand this and stop believing they are some special category in urgent need of a pedestal, we will get along just fine.

Lipstick Alley is a really unique space, and I'm not going to lie, I'm super jelly of Black women for creating and having it.

I love it too, but there's also Ovarit which is all races.

As an outspoken woman I don't feel welcome at Ovarit at all. I've even had run ins here on Saidit with feminists from there that won't allow women to have a different opinion. Hard pass.

I only lurk but I do hear it's authoritarian.

Have you tried any of the non-political circles?

Yeah that's valid - it's hard because while in theory Ovarit is really just about a women's space for women, it was made manifest by the banning of r/GC, so that was the point of connection.... Hopefully it will keep growing though, and there will be the like more politicized spaces, and then the like "Just be chill and nerd out about knitting" spaces - they DO have apolitical circles, like knitting ones!

Good for the women of LSA. They get straight to the point. I love those women on there.

This response is fantastic:

Even if you might feel you should be a woman your entitlement and low-key misogyny tells me your still a man at heart.

Edit: Goddamn. They're all fantastic. I love these women.
