I'm not a member, but I do read Ovarit daily and so have seen that it has many different Circles on different topics, so if a reader chose to, they could avoid the trans debate and focus on their own interests.

For me, as an older woman who remembers when even women in the US lacked some basic rights, I think that gender ideology is the most crucial issue women face right now, because globally there is a push to change the legal definition of "sex" to include "gender identity" which erases women as a distinct and coherent legal category.

How can we fight for our rights, and other injustices that arise out of our biology, if we can't even organize based on the one thing that unites us across the world, our biology?

For instance, when women are split into "chest-feeders" "menstruators" "uterus owners" or whatever labels governments, corporations, politicians and NGOs are now using to segment us, how can we fight for sex-based healthcare that encompasses our needs from cradle to grave?

This push to erase women is the scariest mass movement I have ever seen, we have to take a stand now or Gilead awaits.
