Gotta love the one “progressive” guy saying “white women don’t have any problems anymore.” And then another top mind of Reddit concedes that white women can have problems “if they’re poor.”

Divorcing the term “woman” from the female body is making society dumber. In the end these guys always reveal how little they know about women.

I think this idea has deliberately been pushed by the left in recent years: That white women are not oppressed. Because really, what that says is that sexism does not exist. They'll accept any form of oppression that does not include women as a class. Since white women are usually the women willing/able to speak the loudest and participate the most in feminism(not saying that's how it should be, just the reality) - it effectively silences all women as "uppity bitches", aka TERFs. It's not as if they give a shit about women of color either, but making it about white women hides the misogyny more effectively.

Absolutely. In the US, white women have the most influence and average wealth of any group of women, and are the largest demographic of women. So if you can say that 60% of women (percentage of non-Hispanic whites) can't really complain about the discrimination and violence they experience for being women, that's very powerful in silencing women talking about misogyny. Plus, it gives white guys an easy scapegoat who superficially appear to have similar privilege to them but in fact do not have nearly as much social and structural power as they do. And if you can make misogyny more acceptable against the most 'privileged' demographic of women, then it's a piece of cake to make it acceptable against all others too. In a way it makes sense too that they would focus on the demographic of women with the most structural power (compared to other groups of women), since women having any kind of power at all is a threat to them

Like the 'Karen' slur. They really love to use that... toss it around for any white women they don't like.
