Do they really think more than 1 in 50 actually believes they're the opposite sex? Like seriously?

I think they should do an, uh, intersectional analysis, and see what percentage of those trans people are (1) white, (2) female-attracted, (3) natal, biological males, (4) who were born into middle class and above families. Something tells me the BBC will no longer be impressed by their own diversity afterward.

And 11% LGBT just sounds way too high IMO, especially with only 1.3% lesbians. What are the odds their 1.3% "lesbians" are even female? It's pretty clear they've also realized that their oh so diverse LGBT population is a bunch of dudes. Hence them calling out the need to hire more lesbians despite already having apparently 11% of your workforce LGBT.

Also, as a lesbian, I would not want to be hired specifically because I'm a lesbian. That's weird. Just don't be biased against females, especially gender non-conforming ones. That's all it takes. I'm not British, but is it safe to say that the female faces of the BBC are all fembot types? What about the men?
