Funding for excavations are rare to come by, mostly it comes from Foundations. Guess what subject is heavily funded by all the big and small foundations for the last decade;-). Also this would be a good new topic for a book deal; he would grasp a big audience solely because it includes the TG topic, and would validate there existence, and all the wokies can spiral signal and fawn over them. In the end it is always about monetary gains, for all who deal in transgender ideology.

It's weird, though, because if you look at reviews for the book, none of them mention the transgender stuff at all. Apparently this is just one chapter in a much longer book about the Vikings. Why is he pandering to the wokest of the woke when the majority of them would never pick up his book in the first place? It's not marketed to trans people.

My guess, is rewriting history to fit the narrative. But I am a layman, just guessing. It s all creepy, weird and sinister says my gut feeling.
