I've been just permanently banned from r/feminism for saying that in humans sex is a binary, and that intersex people aren still either male or female. I'm a biologist.

That sub is a bloody disgrace to feminism. They use slurs and dismissive language towards women all the time. Pretty sure most of the people there are transwomen or men.

I feel bad for every young woman that is looking for a feminism sub and is subject to that fuckery

As an old feminist who suddenly woke up in Bizarro TWAW World, I think that Queer Theory and Third Wave feminism, sex positivity, BDSM, "sex work is work," anal sex on demand, sexting, plastic surgery, etc., was very much designed to undo the gains women made and make us seem like we have to be living sex dolls.

It all seems to be the opposite of actual feminism.

It's so bizarre, isn't it? Like you, I sleep-walked into this. I'd seen the post-feminism ladette thing give way to a new rise in feminism, and was quietly celebrating its revival, then self ID came along and I had my first Houston-we-have-a-problem moment, followed by a couple of years of trying to catch up with what the hell is going on and how we got to this point.
