By their own definitions I am trans and yet they still won't let me speak. Of course lots of us probably fantasized about being a man. I know one person who admitted that they were trans because they thought people would respect them more as a man, they didn't.

Yep. Talked to a queer activist online pre-Rowling and (honestly) asked for his definition of "cis". It was: When you're comfortable and happy with your gender role. To which I replied: Well, that makes me a trans man.

Gave him pause. Any definition of trans that includes me should NOT be presented to children.

You might be on to something... If we all start IDing as men, maybe people would start listening? And we could get everybody disagreeing with us get kicked of the internet?
