The actual poll cropped. 80% of Scots are TERFs.

https://ibb.co/K6FFx40

And about 85% of English.

The Huffington Post article specifically cited women’s responses, but the margins there were still vast. English women were 2:1 against self-ID on the first question, more than 3:1 against identifying females as fathers on birth certificates, and more than 5:1 against letting people with penises into their changing rooms.

It's all worth a read.

The problem is that these polls are anonymous.

Once people become vulnerable to doxxing (insane how it's still not illegal), they would never speak their true thoughts about it.

It would be nice if some real research could be done but it would probably not get approved in this climate. The inmates appear to be running the asylum.

This is why trans activists are trying to silence women and rush it through the back door, most people don't support this crazy and most people aren't even aware of the TRA demands.

But, this is excellent news.

Who are the 20% saying that males should be allowed in women's changing rooms even if the women object? Good grief.

Perverts and the men who cover for them.

in the English one you can see 16% of women think they should be allowed. That’s what’s mind blowing. What is it? Blind kindness? Are 16% of random women on the streets TRAs? I don’t get it.

I think it's a mix of trans women, women who know trans women that they trust, and honestly a lot of naive (probably mostly young) women who drank the Kool-Aid without thinking too hard because they've been lucky enough to avoid being victims of male violence and perversion.

I have young acquaintances who genuinely think it's silly to assume that male perverts would self ID their way into women's spaces for sexual gratification or to harm women. Their optimism leads me to believe that they've never had run ins with the wrong sort of men. Great for them of course, but the blind optimism is worrying.

There are still people who think all trans women are 'sad gay men' who would never, ever harm women , they just hate being men so much that they want to be women . Seriously. I found out a few weeks ago that my own husband was one of them. WAS.

I know I've had some friends IRL who thought that who have peaked after digging into the situation (with some guidance from me) after the JK Rowling thing blew up.

Personally, I do think that feminine gay men and trans women need more protection from male violence in some places. Like. Feminine gay men or men who have taken hormones to develop breasts or gotten implants or whatever SHOULDN'T just get tossed to the wolves in a men's prison, or male shelters with high risk places like group shelters, or wherever. If someone like Blaire White got tossed in with a bunch of men I think we all know what would happen, and that's sickening.

However, the fix to it shouldn't be to toss biological men with all the male violence and dicks and bigger stronger bodies into women's prisons and women's shelters etc to protect them from other men.

Some women are stunningly naive about men though. I don't think its a coincidence that the only woman I've heard come out with "nonbinary is a real thing/men are as oppressed as women" shite in real life also happens to be a virgin who has never had a relationship, or any male friends/brothers etc. Add that to being well off and white, and you seem to have the perfect mix for being a handmaid who believes utter bollocks...

I'd call if "kissing up to power" rather than "kindness". They want the men to favour them so they'll follow orders without question; if it were actually kindness, then consideration would be given for the most vulnerable, ie. women and girls.

It’s also hilarious that for a survey that’s gone so far to “correctly” gender everything, they default to calling the baby “it”.

Sally was born a man, but now Sally is a beautiful woman. Should Sally be able to be considered a mother to hi- her- them- the bab- it!

These are the same type of horrific bigots that don't let me into the girl's dorm showers on Thursday when I identify as a woman. Absolutely horrific transphobia that I am exposed to.... I just want to feel safe, and the only way I can is by watching 21 year old chicks take showers. Why can't people stop bullying me? I just want to use the bathroom in peace. How would YOU feel if people didn't let you use the bathroom??!?

It goes to show that (anonymously at least) most people are on our side. At least in regard to change rooms.
