I disagree with that last point. If you need official documentation to change your sex and get that, and have done the work to transition, that shows a person is truly committed.

Problem with Canada (my country... -_-) is that we have self-id (bill c-16 in 2016). A dude like Yaniv can just say he's a women and he is. He can't be removed from the bathroom or changing room by management if a women complains because he simply has to verbally say he is a women.

Self-id is the biggest problem. We should have an official document required when changing gender, and the requirements to attain that, that says you are the opposite gender should be extremely high (like in Japan).
