Iran actually uses being trans as a conversion therapy to "cure" gays. While being gay/lesbian there is illegal

Oh, so true! I don't know of any country where it's illegal...

At a stretch there are 9 countries where transgender could be considered illegal.

  • Brunei
  • Kuwait
  • Malawi (archaic law about no long hair on men)
  • Malaysia
  • Oman
  • Saudi Arabia (no official law)
  • South Sudan
  • Tonga (cross-dressing while soliciting for sex)
  • Nigeria (northern states only)

Good question, not sure. I've not heard of a country where it's specifically illegal to be trans.

it is illegal to be trans, at least explicitely codified into law, in at least nine countries. Countries that prohibit gay and lesbian relationships Also criminalize being trans by default, or use forced transition to make the relationship "straight" which is NOT pro-trans at all. It's anti-gay. If it were pro trans, they would allow people to transition if they chose to.

the red dots on the map are areas that prohibit lgb relationships. the blue are where it is explicitely codified that alternate gender expression of any kind is illegal. In the area where the Red dots exist, I have seen just as many headlines about the murder of trans people as the murder of gay and lesbian people, especially gay men and trans women, though you dont believe trans women are women.

I will also include a massive research document that has more information on LGBTQ+ Rights Issues, all sourced and from reliable places such as The American Psychological Association, The American Medical Association, The American Psychoanalytic Association, Human Rights Campaign, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, the United Nations, and the United Kingdom’s National Health Service.

pertinent information begins on page seven. it is a research document on many subjects.

I come here with no intent to harm you. i am not male. i have never had a penis. I know you will call me a woman, and i am resigned to that. I hope you will take a look at the sources at least. I can provide more if necessary. It doesnt take me long to find pertinent information to your questions.

Thanks! I'm so confused as to the last half of your post. You are not a male and think I'll call you a woman and that upsets you? I actually had no intention of referring to you as male or female at all since I don't know you? Are you walking around looking to be offended?

That second link is trash. "Transgender people are valid" is a misogynist dogwistle.

Thank you for the resources.

I learned from watching a Blaire White video that in most countries, transgender bs is more accepted than being gay. Where in the west, being gay is more accepted than being trans (Not that trans isn't "accepted", but it's more based on fear than being genuinely accepting of them)

And by trans woman of course I mean TIM just to be clear.
