Nope. I’m saying they did you a disservice by not helping you understand the reality of the situation. You can still transition and understand that it only means something to you and other people don’t have to and likely won’t see you as a woman.

I understand that perfectly well. Me specifically I imagine almost no one thinks of me as a “true” woman. Though I think that’s mostly to do with the fact that I look like an ogre.

You clearly don’t understand that perfectly well. On the other thread you’re arguing about the meaning of words. If You understood perfectly well you’d not be tying to pretend that man and woman have different meanings that are all accurate and acceptable.

Talking about me and respectable trans people are 2 different things. If you are lucky enough to transition early and pass you can find actual acceptance and have a good life. Someone like me? The best we got is pity and getting by, but it beats pretending to be a man.

Regardless of how any trans person looks they aren’t the sex they wish they were. It’s not about looks it’s about facts.

The way society treats us it’s very much about looks. That’s why so many gc posts are just mocking trans women’s appearances.

Sure… that’s still not at all the point. The point. Is no matter how any trans person is treated, they aren’t the sex they wish they were. The point is fact is always there no matter what.

But they are treated differently.

Sometimes. If they aren’t outed or honest. Sometimes obviously trans people get treated with kid gloves. So what’s your point? People don’t change sex based on how others see or treat them. People don’t change sex at all.

I’m saying appearance matters to how trans people are treated. That’s it.
