I want to spend some time in worlds not ruled by transphobia. As long as no one makes a transphobic joke, I can assume that is the way of the world. If a trans person exists and no one is shitty to then about it I can exist in that world. That doesn’t mean no conflict exists. You can have a deteriorating relationship or mounting bills or a werewolf attack as long as no one makes a joke at the expense of the trans women.

And nobody at any point in this particular convo thread, said anything about trans people being made jokes of in either film so wtf are you even talking about?

Realistically depicting how a trans person would’ve been treated doesn’t mean the trans person is a punch line. And depicting a trans person being mocked or mistreated isn’t automatically making fun of trans people either. That stuff happened and happens, which is why it’s shown in films and tv.

It really just seems like you’re wanting to build some safe bubble to live in and that’s fine but it’s unrealistic
