    Yeah sure you don’t want us treated badly. Just unable to conceal our status so we are vulnerable, have medical transition be illegal or prohibitively expensive, make sure we don’t have access to safe facilities, and make sure that we suffer for years unnecessarily before accessing transition if we Happen to be able to afford it. But totally don’t wish us ill. Sure. Okay.

    None of us are against trans safe spaces. Y’all have a right to toilets and shelters and changing rooms. Not giving away women’s spaces is different to preventing spaces and resources for the community.

    Trans spaces don’t exist. And realistically won’t absent some kind of legal mandate.

    So arguing we shouldn’t be able to access what actually exists because of a an unlikely theoretical possibility is basically just arguing for lack of access without affirmative action on the other end.

    But I’ll happily fight alongside transgender people for their own spaces. I vote for the mandate of them. I buy frequently from a clothing store that donates that money to a transgender shelter in a nearby city.

    Your assumptions about me as a person, and about gender critical thinking, are all heavily influenced by this refusal to acknowledge anything but your own self hatred and emotional state as true.

    Until you are able to put your emotions and ego aside and engage with ideas that you don’t automatically agree with, I suspect nothing will be good enough. I suspect you will still find sinister motives and hatred of you here, just because you are looking for it as confirmation of your world view.

    I hope you do eventually find some way to move past this pattern.
