I would say you already do know the answer- each of your questions answers itself. A neopenis is not the same and does not look or function the same ways a penis does. A man whose penis is damaged or “malfunctioning” still has a penis, and Phalloplasty performed on a penis is different from reshaping a vagina to resemble a penis. You can call a fauxphallus whatever you want, it still won’t be a penis. And the thing is- everyone will know. penis looks different from reshaped vagina and skin graft. It just does. To me, the reason a neopenis will never be the same as a penis is because it’s made out of a vagina. Same way a fauxgina is made out of penis and balls. It may closely resemble the real deal (emphasis on may), it never will function the same ways. People can tell what’s going on downstairs- even if a layman can’t, a professional can. When someone has an issue or a different situation down there than expected, we can always tell why. If there’s a medical abnormality, damage from trauma, atrophy from cross sex hormones, disease, you can even tell if a female gave birth, you can tell if someone happened to reshape their genitals to look like a different set of genitals for whatever reasons...point is just that genitalia can’t be altered so effectively that it will truly be fully mistaken for the opposite sex’s genitals. But even if it could, it still wouldn’t be the same thing. Because it just literally isn’t. The answer really is that simple: it’s just literally not the same thing.
